Robert Treviño and the Malmo SO play on

Robert Treviño and the Malmo Symphony Orchestra have ensured that Sweden's musical lights have stayed on during the current lockdown restrictions.

Initially able to perform as a full orchestra, albeit to a virtual rather than live audience, Treviño and Malmo SO have given several performances including an acclaimed account of Beethoven's Fourth Symphony.

"Perfectly paced... as fine a live account of this wonderful work as I have heard, this will stay long in my memory." Guy Rickard, Musical Opinion, July 2020 issue

As lockdown restrictions have tightened, however, Robert and his team are turning to doing smaller ensemble and chamber concerts. On Thursday April 23rd the live-streamed chamber music concert features MSO musicians and pianist Julia Siciliano performing music by Stravinsky, Haydn, Kuhlau and Schubert.
