Leading composer Avner Dorman's new opera "Wahnfried" (about Wagner acolyte Houston Stewart Chamberlain, whose writings in turn inspired Hitler) is to be premiered at the end of January in Karlsruhe, conducted by Juston Brown and directed by Keith Warner. Dorman is sharing his insights into the process of writing his first opera in a blog for both Classical Music and Opera Now magazines.
